Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce Administrator
Contract Type: Temporary Contract (initially until end of July 2025)
Location: Central London (Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Rate: £210.07 per day (via an umbrella company)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Salesforce Administrator to join our client, a not-for-profit organisation based in Central London. You will be responsible for managing, customising, and optimising the Salesforce system to support the organisation's objectives. This role also involves training and supporting staff to enhance their proficiency with Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting the annual IT audit for Salesforce and ensure ongoing compliance with established protocols
  • Managing GDPR and data retention best practices within Salesforce, ensuring compliance across integrated systems
  • Acting as the primary contact for technical support, coordinating with the external Salesforce support team to resolve internal technical queries
  • Leading CRM development plans to facilitate stakeholder engagement and support the organisation's social investment and programme workstreams
  • Collaborating with team members to document processes, ensuring data is updated consistently and accurately
  • Training and developing team members to build in-house Salesforce expertise
  • Responding to and resolving user queries related to the online portal, ensuring a positive experience
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and access, maintaining a secure and up-to-date database
  • Supporting the procurement process for CRM software renewals, ensuring the system aligns with organisational needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification or extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and maintenance
  • Proven experience in managing a Salesforce database, with a solid understanding of its customisations and potential improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to complex requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver training sessions and engage confidently with staff across various levels
  • Experience in implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including working with Experience Cloud, creating custom fields and dashboards, and optimising system workflows
