Salesforce Developer (Mobile Salesforce Development)

c£550 a day outside IR35 - fully remote

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with experience in building and optimising Salesforce applications for mobile users, with a focus on offline functionality, barcode scanning, building Lightning Web Components, utilising Dynamic Forms and developing Reporting.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing a mobile-optimized Salesforce application with seamless user experience across devices, ensuring that this functions efficiently both online and offline.
• Implement robust offline capabilities to ensure mobile users can access and update data without Internet connectivity. Sync offline data accurately when connectivity is restored.
• Use Barcode Scanning API within Salesforce mobile apps to streamline data entry.
• Implement and optimize Dynamic Forms within the Lightning App Builder for tailored data collection experiences.
• Develop one or more LWCs to capture photos C link them to specific questions within data capture.
• Develop a process for managing changes over time to question sets.
• Develop Real Time Report/Dashboard solution that can be reviewed on mobile.
• Perform rigorous testing to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
• Develop a full, 100%-coverage regression test suite.
• Debug issues and optimize app performance.
• Work closely with business analysts, administrators, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and system design specifications.

Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications (eg, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, App Builder) are highly desirable.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
• Proven experience with Salesforce Mobile and mobile-optimized Lightning apps
• Hands-on experience with offline data management in Salesforce

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce development tools: Apex, Lightning Web Components; VisualForce a plus.
• Expertise in Lightning App Builder, writing LWCs, Dynamic Forms
• Experience with Barcode Scanning API
• Knowledge of Salesforce architecture including custom objects and API's
