Salesforce Programme Manager and Data Strategy Lead

A Charity in London are seeking a Salesforce Programme Director and Data Strategy Lead to lead on the delivery of their Salesforce CRM which will replace two legacy systems and to migrate all data successfully to the new system.

The Programme Director will be responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of their transformational Data Strategy which will streamline the way they receive, manage and work with data across the organisation, enabling smoother customer journeys and helping them to embed a truly data and insight-driven approach at the Charity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a significant programme to upgrade and migrate the key CRM systems (Income Generation and Operations) to a Salesforce Lightning platform, embedding best practices for Agile methodology, to ensure they are positioned to deliver the data quality, analytical and reporting capability required
• Lead the programme to combine siloed data sources through the development of a data platform, enabling richer insights, reporting and an improved customer and supporter journey.
• Lead the delivery of the data strategy, designing a roadmap and strategy which includes Data Management, Data Governance, Insight & Impact and Analytics to ensure data is captured, analysed and used to enable the organisation to meet its strategic aims
• Oversee relationships with key technology platform providers, ensuring that the programme has high quality third-party partnerships in place.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Charity, working closely with colleagues in Learning and Organisational Development, to ensure that internal stakeholders are brought on a change management journey and concepts are explained clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience

• Strong experience of leading Data & Analytics transformation programmes through to completion
• Significant knowledge and experience of implementing and overseeing of data applications including CRM systems, data platforms/warehouses and data visualisation tools. Experience with Salesforce and Azure highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills (Agile methodology) with experience of successful delivery of significant technology transformation programmes including system platform upgrades and/or migration and orchestrated transition to cloud infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in data management and utilisation including experience of developing and delivering organisation-wide data strategies.
• Experience of managing third party provider partnerships, including leading on tender process for selection, ensuring aims and best value are delivered for the organisation
