SAP BW BO Consultant - Dutch speaker

We are looking for a SAP BW and BO specialist to join our client based in the Netherlands.

• Location: on-site in Zoetermeer (must be based in the Netherlands)
• Rate: 80 EUR per hour

Assignment Background
The DevOps Business Operations Bureau develops and manages applications for business operations. A significant portion of this work is done with SAP products. Management information on financial and personnel processes is produced using two BW systems, which are fed from multiple SAP and non-SAP systems and made accessible with SAP BO. All systems are on-premise.

The SAP Team consists of three Basis/Netweaver specialists, four application specialists, and one BW/BO specialist, supplemented by one external BO specialist.

As the demand for BW expertise is expected to increase, and because the client does not want to rely on just one BW specialist, we are looking for a second specialist.

The client works DevOps, meaning that all specialists are responsible for both maintenance and management, as well as the development of new technologies and functionalities.

Assignment Description
As a SAP BW Specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Conducting impact analyses of feature requests for reports and dashboards in collaboration with the Product Owner, application specialists, and/or functional administrators.
• Managing and setting up existing data warehouses (ETL).
• Optimizing load processes and the performance of reports and dashboards.
• Building and modifying reports.
• Monitoring load processes and ensuring continuity, analysing and resolving production issues.
• Performing and overseeing integration and regression tests. In addition, you will contribute to the further development of the Business Intelligence/Management Information road-map and related Proofs of Concept and other explorations in the area of BI technology.

Job Requirements (note: knock-outs)

• A degree at HBO or WO level.
• A certification or education in SAP BW.
• Experience working in an Agile DevOps team.
• You are available for at least 32 hours per week (preferably 40 hours).

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad foundational knowledge of ICT.
• Knowledge of and experience with data structures in SAP's financial and HR components.
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP BO.
• A SAP BW certification.
