SAP PP-PM Developer & Analyst

FPSG are looking for a UK based SAP candidate for an on-site role in the Yorkshire region on the East Coast of England. You will be expert in the area of Production & Production Planning and have a good knowledge of Plant Maintenance and Quality Management. Hands on responsibility for delivering system services, enhancements and projects principally in the area of Production, but also Plant Maintenance and Quality Management, which will require proactive collaboration with other business functions and 3rd parties to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

The role is permanent and will collaborate with colleagues globally, and in particular with the US based SAP Team.

Consideration will be given to base the role from Texas, US, if preferred.

You Will:Provide Business Analysis support to the business and being capable of delivering the appropriate development of the systems and business processes ensuring they continue to meet the requirements of the businesses.Perform Configuration of the SAP systems using the PP, PM and QM modules that aligns with the proposed solutions as defined and agreed with the business during business analysis.Perform testing and the development of test scenarios including the automation of the testing thereof.Provide daily monitoring PP / PM / QM issues including data integrity and rectify any issues through proactive collaboration with the company's functions, 3rd parties and other IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.Provide expertise within their functional area on the use and appropriate development of the systems and business processes, ensure they continue to meet the requirements of the businesses.Analyze, assess, and document business requirements, compile functional & technical specifications to propose ERP solutions & business processes, to ensure the systems continue to meet business requirement.Develop options and recommendations for the businesses on how they can utilize SAP and related applications to the full, improving productivity or reducing business costs.Perform configuration and deliver ERP systems enhancements and projects on time and within cost targetsDeliver support for SAP, through proactive monitoring and collaboration with the business functions, 3rd parties and other business IT functions, to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability, enabling businesses to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.Work with support and Infrastructure partners to monitor and resolve issues on interfaces and batch jobs.Constant monitoring of users' issues raised, implementing the solutions identified and follow-up to closure to achieve user satisfaction.Coach / train Team Members, Super Users & users to establish good practices across the user base on a common set of system processes.Be involved in Systems Governance and Demand Management.Project manage the delivery of projects to time, quality, and cost.

Whilst the specialty of this role is primarily SAP Plant Maintenance, it is also expected that this role provides cover for and understands the Production and Quality Management components of the SAP environment due to the global nature of the role.

Education & Experience Required:Business process ( Production / Plant Maintenance / Quality Management) experience in the chemical industry essential.SAP PP / PM Process modules qualifications preferred.3 Successful full life-cycle implementations of SAP PP essential.Experience with ERP systems including project experience from an IT perspective and documenting process preferred.Track record in change management essential.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of relevant industry practices and processes. Knowledge of business processes. Technical configuration experience in SAP Production and Plant Maintenance essential,Quality Management preferred; at least 3 full project cycles and 2 years of support.

Behavioural skills: Self-motivated individual with passion for service delivery and attention to detail. Highly numerate & analytical. Strong networking and influencing skills. Excellent communication skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English required, Mandarin is useful, but not essential.
