Job Description

Conexus are currently partnered with a global chemical manufacturing client based in Zurich, Switzerland, that are looking to expand their global SAP practice. On that basis, we are searching for a SAP PP/MM/QM Team Lead to join them on a permanent basis in Zurich, Switzerland.

As the Team Lead, you'll report directly to the Global SAP Manager, overseeing the SAP P2P landscape's operations and innovations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid SAP environment (on-premise and cloud) while leading a team responsible for critical modules, including MM, QM, Ariba, PP-PI, IBP, PPDS, MES, DM, and Variant Configuration. You'll drive system improvements, manage projects, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge SAP solutions that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a diverse, global team of internal SAP consultants and external partners.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams to deliver SAP P2P initiatives within defined timelines and objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and project activities across the Plan-to-Product and Procure-to-Pay landscapes.
  • Leverage your SAP expertise to drive system innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable solutions, aligned with the company's digital transformation goals.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, architectural requirements, and SAP template guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP expertise, particularly in manufacturing environments using S/4HANA.
  • 6+ years of team leadership, managing global teams and projects.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Production and Procurement processes with cross-functional integration.
  • Strong SAP technical expertise with a thorough understanding of the ecosystem and architecture.
  • Familiarity with MES systems and Variant Configuration is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-20%.
