Job Description

An SC cleared Network Architect is required for a 3 year contract. This is remote with occasional on site in London and is inside IR35, so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.

Essential skills and experience:
  1. Required Skills:
    1. Must be a UK National with minimum 5 years unbroken residency.
    2. Experienced in Architectural Governance, Deep knowledge and experience on Enterprise and DC network architecture.
    3. Good awareness of broader IT systems.
    4. Good technical leader.
    5. Can communicate complex technical systems to non-technical audiences.
    6. Can provide full network architectures including Security, Services, Processes, Systems, logical and physical solutions.
    7. Has a moderate business acumen, reports to the Chief Architect, works well with peer lead architects.
    8. Strong technical skills in Green IT Infrastructure.
    9. Experience of designing and implementing Green IT Infrastructure solutions.
    10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Desirable Skills:
    1. Experience of working within the UK Public Sector.
    2. Experience of applying your skills for critical national infrastructure in the UK.
    3. Experience of communication / telco systems.
    4. Experience of working with the UK emergency services.
    5. Experience of (or willing to) work within an eco system team - Our client will be leading different suppliers as part of this engagement.
    6. Knowledge of Green IT Infrastructure technologies and standards.
    7. Experience with technical architecture and design.
