Job Description

On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a SC Cleared Technical Architect for a 6 Month contract based in Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle or Blackpool (hybrid working).

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. As the UK's biggest public service department, it administers the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers. Working with DWP, you will be helping us to drive our priorities to:

As a Technical Architect your main responsibilities will be:
. To design a solution to enable data to flow from PIPCS system to Health HDAP (Health and Disability analytical platform)

Essential:
. Architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards
. Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools and best practice (eg Amazon Web Services, Microsoft
. Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
. Oracle
. Turning business problems into technical designs
. Architectural design experience in Software or infrastructure engineering in a large UK central or local government or private sector organisation.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks
