SC Electrical Design Engineer - Remote/Berkshire

Location: Hybrid - Remote/onsite in Berkshire 2-3 days per week
Duration: 12 months (extensions expected)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £negotiable/day

Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver electrical designs that meet safety & performance requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislative documentation/standards associated with electrical engineering
- Confirm designs are prepared which comply with relevant legislation, standards & requirements
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality, and be a great team player

Qualifications
- ONC/OND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline.
- HNC/HND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline.

Skills:
- Working knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to electrical engineering.
- Competent in standard office software, and engineering tools and applications.
- Knowledge of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and/or high hazard facilities.

Experience:
- Producing electrical designs as part of a multi-discipline design team.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment (preferably nuclear and/or explosives).
