About the Role:
Hays Education is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic English and Psychology Teacher to join our team on a supply basis, working at a secondary school in Tyne and Wear. This role involves teaching both English and Psychology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Psychology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the learning experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English and/or Psychology in Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work on a supply basis.
