What You'll Do
As a Sector Coordinator within BCG's Principal Investors & Private Equity Practice Area (PIPE PA), you will play a crucial role in providing support and handling administrative tasks within the PA's global practice management & operations team (PA M&O). Your responsibilities will include assisting the Sector Senior Managers in Private Equity and Tech Capital with various business development, operations, and marketing activities. Additionally, you will work closely with other members of the PA M&O team and collaborate with other BCG departments as needed (e.g., Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Knowledge).
More specifically, activities will include (but not limited to):
Business Development & Reporting:
- Work closely with the Sector Senior Managers to prepare regular business updates and provide detailed sector analysis for internal global and regional meetings.
- Assist with regular reporting tasks, including sector momentum reporting, case openings, and other ad-hoc financial reporting tasks.
- Assist in tracking Go-to-Market activities, including opportunity collection and key wins reporting using BCG standardized dashboards and trackers.
- Support various business development processes and activities.
- Support internal affiliation events and activities, including affiliation meetings/calls; handling affiliation updates collaborating with the PA People team.
Sector Communications & Marketing:
- Play an important role in preparing sector internal communications, identify relevant content across sector commercial, marketing, and people agenda, and coordinate with PA management & operations team members.
- Provide support with sector marketing plan including thought leadership pieces, coordination of conferences and other sector events.
- Support data gathering and cleaning efforts by leveraging BCG's customer relationship management system.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4+ years relevant professional experience
- The ability to handle defined PA processes or smaller projects with minimal guidance
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- The ability to make independent decisions within existing guidelines
- Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, follow-through, ownership and accountability
- Solid analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinking Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, service oriented, proactive and flexible attitude
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with the Sector Senior Managers for Tech Capital and Private Equity sectors as well as other members of the PA Management & Operations team.
