Security Engineer 2024/5923

Your role:

As a Senior Security Engineer in the Information Protection team, you will take ownership of and enhance the Shadow IT Management capability. Your primary goal will be to prevent data leakage and strengthen the organization's information security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce the usage of risky cloud applications.
• Minimize the current USB exceptions period.
• Assess risks associated with file upload sites and implement measures to mitigate them.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a computer-related field (not mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity domain, with the ability to roadmap, self-steer, and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Experience working with cloud security technologies, especially MDCA/MCAS.
• SOC background is a plus, particularly with experience in threat hunting, detection, and response.
• Strong understanding of Shadow IT risks in cloud and on-premises environments, with the ability to proactively improve security posture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders and simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Leadership skills to guide junior team members and enhance team capabilities.
