Role: Senior Account Director

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

About the role:

We are looking for an established Senior Account Director ready to build the next brand in their career. You will be the Senior Account Director to work with the client, via OLIVER's in-house set up, to help them strengthen their brand and product presence in the competitive media landscape. The Senior Account Director will lead the account, working in partnership with our Design Director to manage and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of 6-7 people. The team will be based in-house for a minimum of three days in office.

What you will be doing:
  • Proven record of accomplishment of driving multiple complex projects forward with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Line management of the team.
  • Account leadership: Set the account strategy and plan, working with the Design Director, and execute that plan through careful client and team management.
  • Team leadership: Encourage an inclusive team environment whilst keeping client centricity at the core of the team culture and values.
  • Account operations: Ensure we are easy to work with and set the standard of service.
  • Client relationship growth: Act as the client's strategic partner, find opportunities to help them hit their goals, and proactively manage scope creep and new business wins.
  • Commercial management: Manage a profitable account with timely billing and reporting, negotiate and secure budgets with clients, and design and implement action plans when these go off track.
  • Client reports: Provide insightful and action-first monthly and quarterly reports to the client covering our team, product, and process.
  • Project delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time through decisive direction.
  • Forward planning: Think beyond the day-to-day and plan for future opportunities.
  • Elevate the creative output: Bring strategic insight to discussions and partner with the creatives to deliver work that pushes boundaries.
  • Stakeholder management: Build excellent relationships with clients at all levels, manage OLIVER internal stakeholders, and manage upwards when required.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • A level-headed, strategic thinker with the ability to spot opportunities to help clients achieve their business ambitions.
  • Experienced leader with a strong understanding of how to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience building and sustaining meaningful client partnerships while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
  • Experience working on demanding global brands and projects that have touched non-European markets.
  • Results-driven with the ability to create and deliver against business plans driven by growth targets.
  • Excellent communication skills to robustly present ideas to clients and cascade knowledge throughout the team and wider business.
  • Confident working autonomously with any third-party collaborators.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team while maintaining a top-tier agency service.
  • A passion for creative work, with evidence that previous accounts have produced work that pushes boundaries.
  • Integrated experience, with a focus on digital, including app communications, CRM, social and community management, and non-traditional media.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role/environment.
