What you'll do
As a Senior Architect in Commercial at Sainsbury's Tech, you will play a crucial role in our Core Commercial Transformation Programme - an SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will primarily be responsible for - but not limited to - working with SAP and our Systems Integrator partner, to define and plan a seamless end-to-end integration design across SAP modules and external systems; and aligning integration solutions with business goals. You will ensure scalability, security and reliability of integration solutions. You will provide thought leadership to resolve integration obstacles and optimise outcomes. You will collaborate with Architects and the Engineering Community to develop and communicate the technical architecture, roadmap, and strategy for end-to-end SAP integration. Being an integral part of the Architecture Community of practise, you will share your expertise, contribute innovative design ideas, and promote collaboration and innovation across teams. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the technology landscape, staying informed about industry and retail developments, applying modern engineering techniques and cloud-native design principles, building trust and credibility, and delivering results with a focus on problem-solving and collaboration.

Who you are
We'd love to meet a Senior Architect with:

• 5+ years of Architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns such as Kafka, API, SOAP and data transformation techniques.
• Solid understanding of security standards.
• Experience with cloud integration.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive and driven person, able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
• Experience of working with SAP modules (desirable).
