Role: Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Leeds (once per fortnight)
Salary: £70,000 + 10% bonus + exceptional benefits

Azure Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities- Azure Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of Azure to manage OS, troubleshoot issues, and deploy innovative solutions.
- Service Delivery: Design, build, and deploy Azure-hosted services such as IaaS VMs, Storage, DNS, Backup, DR, and Monitoring while ensuring full compliance with policies.
- Virtualization Support: Provide seamless support for platforms like Citrix, Windows 365, and Azure VDI.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to deliver projects that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and guides to enhance team efficiency.
- Capacity Management: Prioritize critical projects and escalations to ensure infrastructure reliability.
- Security and Updates: Manage vulnerabilities and routine patching to maintain secure, up-to-date systems.
Essential:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure infrastructure, including Windows OS, Active Directory (AD), DNS, Group Policy, File Share, and Backup.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale IaaS and PaaS services in Azure, such as Storage Accounts, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Networking.
- Familiarity with Azure management and security tools like Bastion, Defender, Just-in-Time (JIT) access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), IAM, Security Center, and Cost Management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure management tools, including SolarWinds, Azure Monitoring, and WSUS.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep).
- Enthusiasm for learning the latest cloud technologies, tools, and principles.
