Job Description

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Brand Manager to join their team.

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of premium drinks across multiple challenger brands.

Effective communication with brand owners, strategic brand development, and efficient budget management are central to this role.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and a small team of drinks specialists to drive brand growth and ensure impactful market activations.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years experience in brand management
  • Ideally someone from Drinks / FMCG / Cosmetics background
  • Experience in brand plans and dealing with brand owners
  • Outgoing and able to present effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for assigned portfolio brands, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
  • Brand Development: Drive brand growth through innovative marketing initiatives, product launches, and consumer engagement activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with brand owners, ensuring clear communication and collaboration to maximize brand potential.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets of varying sizes effectively, tracking expenditures and ensuring optimal return on investment for brand activations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, trade marketing, and brand owners to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor brand performance metrics, analyze results, and adapt strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  • Creativity and Resourcefulness: Utilize available resources creatively to deliver impactful brand activations and campaigns for brands of small to medium sizes.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving market demands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in brand management within the spirits or beverage industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Passion for premium spirits and a strong understanding of the spirits market in the UK.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable ROI on marketing investments.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving brand growth and achieving business objectives.
