Job Description

This role's purpose is to drive new and upsell revenue through consultative client interactions and product/service promotion.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales role within the PropTech sector, with a strong understanding of both commercial and residential real estate markets
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of real estate teams, from ground-floor staff to C-suite executives, understanding the unique needs and pain points of each
  • Skilled in managing multiple deals and leads simultaneously, ensuring effective pipeline management and prioritisation of opportunities
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a wider team
  • Strong focus on client service through technology, with experience in sales of tech-driven solutions or mobile engagement platforms
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across London and regional UK locations as required by the role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present and demonstrate technical products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities
  • Experience with CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, forecast, and manage client interactions
  • Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and take ownership of key accounts

THE ROLE

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Business Opportunities
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas
    • Identify new markets, industries, or customer segments to target
    • Create and implement plans for growth into new markets, industries, or customer segments
    • Evaluate and pursue potential partnerships, acquisitions, or collaborations
  • Building and Managing Relationships
    • Develop, maintain and nurture client relationships through events, meetings, workshops, calls, and other means
    • Network and attend industry events to expand professional connections
    • Raise individual profile to become a thought leader within specific areas within the real estate industry
    • Generate new long-lasting relationships with new clients
  • Developing Business Strategies
    • Formulate business development strategies aligned with departmental goals
    • Identify key growth drivers and develop plans to capitalise on them
    • Assess market trends and competitive landscapes to stay ahead of the curve
    • Maintain in-depth competitor analysis on product offering and service delivery
    • Live development plan of existing client portfolios flagging upselling opportunities
  • Driving Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Generate leads and convert these into profitable business opportunities
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
    • Collaborate with executives and other consultants to optimise the sales process and improve conversions
    • Exceed individual revenue targets on a consistent basis
    • Assist other team members through coaching and support to achieve revenue targets consistently
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Track business development activities, sales performance, and KPIs
    • Analyse data and generate reports to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
    • Present findings and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
    • Provide plans for implementation of new service offerings to senior management with KPIs and OKRs included
    • Demonstrate deep product knowledge and expertise
    • Provide solutions for product requirements and service additions
  • Performance
    • Deliver to and consistently exceed assigned targets, KPIs, and OKRs

  • Basic £40k - £45k depending on experience with OTE £51k+ to £56k+ (uncapped commission)
