We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team and assist in building our next-generation data platform. This platform will power reporting, analytics, and insight solutions for both customers and internal users across our portfolio of B2B products, with a primary focus on our flagship CRM, Alto.

As a Data Engineer, you will have an exciting and varied set of responsibilities:

  1. Building out the core data platform on AWS & Databricks (writing terraform, deploying infrastructure)
  2. Working closely with our partners in Product, Marketing and other departments to help them make data-driven decisions and provide the insights and tools to inspire new initiatives
  3. Designing and implementing real-time data pipelines, batch ETL processes, and ensuring high data integrity, quality, and governance.
  4. Maintaining a data warehouse, implementing best practices in performance, scalability, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

Desirable tech skills:

  1. Python, Spark
  2. Experience in the Cloud, preferably AWS
  3. Terraform, or similar IaC
  4. SQL, NoSQL
  5. Experience building out data warehouses and building data pipelines
  6. Experience with Data platform solutions: ideally Databricks, or Snowflake
  7. Experience with Docker (ECS/Kubernetes) & Orchestration tools (AWS Step Functions, Airflow, Dagster)
  8. Any experience in CDC pipelines is beneficial (e.g. AWS DMS)
  9. Event streaming architectures
