As Senior Data Engineer you will develop and maintain an advanced data processing platform for aircraft turnaround. Implementing AI technology to predict and prevent delays, thereby improving the efficiency and reliability of airports worldwide. How you achieve results in this? That's up to you. - Collaborating closely with the team to design, build, and maintain a modern data (stream-)processing platform.
- Ensuring that our data is of the highest quality and can be effectively utilized by our clients.
- Developing and maintaining solutions in the Azure cloud and on-premises.
And many others, e.g.: architecting new solutions & strategies, application lifecycle management, reliability engineering, technical feasibility analyses, and providing recommendations to management.

- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related; 8+ years experience
- Strong analytical skills and passion for quality solutions
- IT fundamentals, data security, and privacy expertise
- Experience with large datasets and modern data engineering
- 5+ years software development (6 months+ Go experience is a must) and architecture
- DevOps and containerization proficiency
- Azure cloud experience
- Project and team leadership skills

- Streaming technologies and open-source DevOps tools
- AI libraries integration
- Compute engines (e.g., Databricks) familiarity
- Infrastructure as code experience
- On-call availability and cross-timezone work
- € 5173 to € 7176 gross per month (Schaal 13).
- A 13th month (year-end bonus).
- The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
