Senior Data Scientist (Permanent)

Areas of work are Marketing Platforms, Automation and Data Science

The Data Science Chapter focuses on modelling complex business problems and deploying data products at scale both internally and externally across multiple areas including physical stores, online, stock management, finance and marketing. The Agile team works across delivery squads in an Azure environment, primarily with Databricks, Data Factory and Azure DevOps coding in Python and PySpark

Skills and Experience

- SQL and Python coding skills using software development principles

- Database experience and good knowledge of combining internal and external data sources together for modelling

- Advanced knowledge in statistical modelling methods - predictive modelling, trend analysis, unsupervised models etc

- Can clearly articulate ideas with non-technical language and present a simple story to a wide audience

- Demonstrate brilliant listening skills to understand and influence the needs of your stakeholders and customers.

Desirable:

- Deploying DS models in the cloud environment (Azure preferred)

- PySpark codin
