The role: Senior Data Scientist (SQL/Python/Tableau)

Business: Global Media Tech

Contract: 12 months - with a possibility of being extended

Salary: £105k to £110k basic + benefits (PAYE, paid weekly, WITHIN IR35)

Location: London / South East UK - remote working

You MUST already be in the UK with full rights to work and NOT require relocation or visa sponsorship to be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
2. Generate and test hypotheses and analyse and interpret the results of product experiments.
3. Work with developers & product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
4. Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualisation support, which includes, but is not limited to, support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.

Skills:

1. You'll have at least 6+ years at a minimum, in a similar role, ideally within BigTech / major financial organisation. This is a necessity.
2. You'll possess strong, proven experience in SQL & Python - this will be tested
3. BigData tools such as Hadoop / Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau are required.
4. Strong communication skills & stakeholder management skills are a necessity.
