iO Associates is working on an exclusive basis with an SME Cyber Technology & Research client in the who works closely with the Defence and National Security industry.
The part of the business that the successful applicant will be joining is focused on delivering cutting-edge technology research projects. Some examples of their usual projects include Mobile (Malware, iOS, Android) & Automotive technology so experience in these areas would be useful but not paramount.
Key job role:
As the Senior Delivery Manager you will:
- Oversee and manage the progress and delivery of circa 25 projects at any one time
- Be the go-to person for all communication with your Defence & Security stakeholders & liaise back to your internal teams who are conducting the research.
- Alongside your own projects, you will also support and guide the 2 x Junior Project Managers as they deliver some of the non-cleared, private sector projects that our client is delivering.
As these are research based projects, and the research is conducted internally, your main role will be coordination, support, and general delivery management.
You will NOT be responsible for: commercials, bid management, business cases, project/governance set up etc.
