Your Responsibilities

As Senior Director of Product Management, you will set and champion the product vision for DocuWare, driving a customer-centric strategy that aligns with business objectives and delivers exceptional value to our customers. You will lead and empower your teams to achieve outstanding results, fostering innovation and ensuring scalability for long-term growth. Partnering closely with UX and Engineering, you will spearhead transformative initiatives that redefine how businesses worldwide leverage DocuWare to achieve their goals.

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals, market trends, and evolving customer needs in collaboration with UX and Engineering leaders.
• Mentor and develop Product Management Team Leads, building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
• Drive organizational growth by refining processes, enhancing skills, and building a scalable structure to support long-term product and engineering excellence.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Product Marketing to ensure the product strategy drives adoption, competitive differentiation, and measurable business impact.
• Use customer feedback, market analysis, and performance metrics to prioritize initiatives, guide decisions, and continuously improve the product portfolio.
• Champion a customer-first mindset by representing the voice of the customer in strategic decisions, ensuring every initiative delivers exceptional value and user experiences.

What you need to succeed

• 10+ years in product management within the software industry (ideally ECM), including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success in leading and developing customer-centric product teams, managing leaders, and scaling product organizations to achieve business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse software product portfolios from concept to market success, aligning initiatives with broader company objectives.
• Strong business sense, with the ability to tie product strategy to Go-To-Market plans, ensuring successful execution and measurable results.
• Expertise in product management best practices, tools, and methodologies, with familiarity in leveraging OKRs to guide and measure outcomes.
• A proven track record as a change agent, driving continuous improvement and enabling teams to thrive in dynamic environments.
• Strong experience in managing, mentoring, and empowering large, high-performing teams.
• Fluency in both English and German, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
