Location: London, Exeter, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester
Flexible Remote Work: 2 days in the office/on-site, 2 days working from home
Salary: £36,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience (up to £46,000 for London)

The Role - Senior Ecologist
As a Senior Ecologist, you'll be the go-to expert for leading exciting projects. Your role will involve:
  • Conducting Preliminary Ecology Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and Habitats Regulations Assessments.
  • Designing and leading ecological surveys and mitigation strategies.
  • Mentoring consultants and graduates, and contributing to the team's success.
  • Collaborating across disciplines on unique, high-impact projects.
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring your advice shapes the success of their projects.

Essential Attributes:
  • Academic qualifications in ecology or biological sciences.
  • CIEEM membership, with a commitment to Chartership.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legislative and planning policy framework.
  • Excellent survey skills, including extended Phase I/UKHabs, specialized species surveys (holding at least one license or specialisation), and/or botanical assessments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Alignment with company values and a passion for innovation.
