Kier Group are lookingfor a senior engineer to join our growing civil and structuraldesign team based in Leeds.

Kier Professional Services (KPS) are the engineeringconsultancy division of Kier Group, providing design solutions,technical advice, and engineering support to all other Kierbusiness units.

Weundertake over 2,000 designs a year in support of over 400projects, making us one of the UK's largest Temporary Worksdesigners. Our 100+ Temporary Works engineers have extensiveexperience in designing and checking Temporary Works for projectsof all sizes and across all sectors.

Location: Leeds - remoteworking available, with occasional travel to the officerequired

What will yourresponsibilities be?

As a seniorengineer inside KPS you will be working closely with project teamsto support with the delivery of a broad range of civil andstructural related services in both Temporary and Permanent Worksthroughout the Kier business. You will also contribute tothe delivery of more complex services by providing solutionswhich are safe and buildable (in both their temporary and permanentstates).

What will your day to dayinvolve?:

• TemporaryWorks design and checking, above and below ground in all materials,integrated with Permanent Works design if applicable.
• Delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering,enhancing Kiers reputation
• Tender stage andbid winning support, focusing on buildability, efficiency, andinnovation.
• Technical assessment and review of3rd party designs, ensuring compliance with the brief to meetclient and Kier requirements.
• Delivery ofalternative solutions and value engineering, enhancing Kier'scompetitive position
• Manage and mentor otherjunior KPS staff.

What are we lookingfor?

• You must be aChartered Engineer or are looking to become Chartered.
• An interest in Temporary Works Design or experienced inalready.
• You have a full UK drivinglicence.
