About the role

Are you a seasoned insurance professional with a passion for technology and a track record of success? We're looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Lines Broker to join our high-performing broking team.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving revenue growth by managing key client relationships and delivering innovative solutions within financial lines broking.

What you'll get up to:
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.

  • Relationship building: Forge strong relationships with key decision-makers in the technology industry, including CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite executives.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

  • Deal negotiation: Negotiate complex deals with underwriters to secure the best terms for our clients.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach team members to enhance their sales skills and achieve their full potential.

  • Market awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.

  • Representation: Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand.

About you:
  • Experience: 8+ years of broking, account handling, or underwriting experience.

  • Industry knowledge: Good knowledge of working within financial lines insurance products, including D&O, PI, Cyber, and Crime.

  • Market reputation: Respected amongst underwriters in the UK/London insurance market.

  • Account management: Ability to manage multiple high income accounts and projects simultaneously.

  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic mindset: Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth.

  • Professionalism: High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
