We are seeking an experienced Senior General Manager to oversee the operational performance and management of two new purpose-built student accommodation residences in Leeds. The role involves mobilising and leading 2 dedicated PBSA on-site teams, ensuring exceptional service for residents, and maintaining high operational standards. You will build relationships with residents, universities, contractors, and stakeholders while driving occupancy, compliance, and financial performance. This is a superb opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including the residence team, contractors, and maintenance operative.
- Promote a resident-focused culture and deliver high customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales and marketing efforts to achieve occupancy targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and UK housing regulations.
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and revenue-generating initiatives.
About You:
- Proven track record in building management and team leadership, in a student accommodation or build to rent environment.
- Experience managing budgets exceeding £100k.
- Strong knowledge of UK housing tenancy laws and compliance.
- Exceptional communication, planning, and customer relationship skills.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to a dynamic work environment.
