As a Senior Manager within the KPMG Sustainability Reporting & Assurance team, you will find yourself at the forefront of sustainability assurance and reporting, collaborating with a diverse range of top-tier national and international clients alongside a team of dedicated ESG professionals. Along with your team you will work on those projects, assuring the company's information on several environmental and social topics.
Following a comprehensive onboarding process, you will integrate into our network, actively contributing to the realization of our clients' ambitions worldwide. Besides working on client projects, you will work on thought leadership, receive training on personal development and content knowledge and experience all social benefits that come with being in a fast-paced KPMG department.
In your role you inspire, motivate and coach the teams and contribute to the larger group's development.
- You work with colleagues (from different departments and countries) on assignments for multiple international clients.
- You are a spider in the web between the client, colleagues, and specialists in various fields such as CO2 emissions, climate risk, and human rights.
- You manage teams and are responsible for daily operational management of the larger sustainability assurance and reporting projects.
- You act as the linking pin between KPMG and the client whilst maintaining business contact with different stakeholders.
- You lead teams in which increasingly AI-supported tools are applied in our operational tasks.
- You contribute to and co-lead business development and conversations with clients on sustainability reporting & assurance topics.

- An academic (WO) Master's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 8 years of work experience, preferably in the field of assurance and/or ESG.
- A Postmaster Register Accountant training (or equivalent such as CPA) is a plus, but not a must have.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbally).
- Fluency in Dutch is a plus, but not necessary.
- The ability to coach more junior colleagues.
- Experience in independently carrying out (assurance) assignments as a team leader and you have consultancy skills.
- Commercial and conceptual thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure.
