Our client with HQ in Vienna is an owner-managed pharmaceutical company, which strategically acquires prescription-only originator products worldwide. The owners and a team of international experts are striving to ensure the long-term availability of their products and to develop them further to benefit the current and future needs of their patients worldwide. We are currently looking for an empathetic and experienced Medical Information Specialist to support the "Head of Medical Information" within the international PV-team located in Vienna (Austria) and Zagreb (Croatia) to further strengthen "medical information" with its business critical relevance:

Aufgaben

Support the Head of PV/ Medical Information:

• Manage and supportGlobal Medical Information
• Provide support to the wider globalbusiness and local affiliates with the handling of complex inquiries escalated by the call center and field-based personnel to ensure consistency of quality
• Generate standard medical information content to fulfill unsolicited Medical Information requests from both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and non-HCPs
• Develop Global Medical Information training for implementation at local call centers, external business partners, and otherteam members on Medical Information content & processes
• Develop Medical Information Processes from a Global remit to support the Medical Information function
• Generate digital content (i.e. to facilitate contact that is compliant to global / local regulations) for Medical Information onglobal websites and for local implementation
• Continuously monitor inquiry and product trends and metrics from a global level to ensure appropriate content strategy and documents are developed proactively
• Continuous improvement of Medical Information processes and deliverables
• Support audit readiness at all times to GxP standards
• Provide ad hoc project support as needed for globalization efforts in Medical Information
• Generate Medical Information materials (e.g. scripted responses, Q&As, handle and administration guidelines, frequently asked questions, standard response letters, etc.)
• Ensure the appropriate and timely review and approval of any generated materials in accordance with relevant SOPs and local laws / codes of practice
• Provide ongoing training to call center agents and other relevant individuals on new or updated Medical Information content
• Regularly monitor the quality and accuracy of the Med Information responses provided by the call center(s) and identify necessary corrective actions or training required to ensure compliance with regional and local regulations as well as internally relevant SOPs

Profil

• Successfully completed studies in Human or Veterinary Medicine, or a scientific education (FH or university degree)
• Several years of professional experience in the field of Medical Information as well as in Medical Writing and experience with global regulations is an advantage
• Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken), additional languages are an advantage as well as your willingness to occasionally travel to conferences, primarily within Europe
• Your high level of empathy and social competence is requested and appreciated as well as your strong communication skills and diplomatic finesse
• Your high IT-affinity and computer user skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) together with accurate and diligent documentation skills are relevant
• You are a committed and communicative team player; an out-of-the box-thinker with a positive and cross-departmental mindset, hands-on mentality and ready to act responsibly
• You possess an analytical way of thinking with a precise, structured working style and a careful, prudent and independent way of working
