We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Development Practice as a .NET Developer, delivering key projects across our Front Office change team. As a .NET Developer Embedded into the project team, this role involves extending systems and scaling into cloud-based solutions for seamless entity onboarding.

The Role:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize .NET C# solutions, adhering to solid design principles.

  • Design and implement full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration with event-based messaging frameworks.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document user requirements.

  • Develop and maintain solutions for document-based databases and support the migration from SQL to MongoDB.

  • Optimize application performance within containerized solutions for cloud environments.

  • Lead the transition from WPF to Angular on the Front End, supporting alternative technologies where applicable.

  • Collaborate with project management and third-party vendors to define delivery schedules and validate updates.

  • Develop and execute testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT phases.

  • Ensure seamless integration of new application processes into the production environment.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology risk, analytics, and Front Office teams.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Over 6 years of experience or an extremely strong profile in .NET C# development.

  • Hands-on experience with full-stack development, including Angular or alternative Front End technologies.

  • Strong understanding of solid design principles and event-based messaging frameworks.

  • Expertise in document-based databases such as MongoDB and experience migrating from SQL.

  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy containerized solutions in cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with transitioning applications from WPF to Angular.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Murex and in-house built platforms is advantageous.

  • Strong business analysis and project life cycle knowledge.

  • Experience defining and structuring test plans and leading UAT phases.

  • Solid communication skills - both written and oral.

Main Projects:

  • Extending systems to support other entities.

  • Scaling into cloud-based solutions to enable entity onboarding.

  • Transitioning UK-based systems as the target architecture.

  • Supporting 17 different applications (4 in product control, 12 across risk) with in-house development frameworks.
