About the Role:This role is vital to protecting our unique and industry-changing Rider Working Model that enables us to deliver on our promise to Consumers, Partner, Rider and Shareholders. This is a highly visible role with lots of exec interest in the area and loads of opportunity to create impact! The role reports into senior Product Leadership and is a hybrid role based out of our London office.
You will be:
- Crafting the proposition for riders to work with Deliveroo and establish a 3-year vision for this domain, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching strategic objectives while addressing the essential needs of our riders and evolving market trends.
- Collaborating with Operations to formulate and execute a rider engagement and retention strategy, leveraging data and insights to implement features that drive substantial enhancements to the rider experience.
- Taking a rider-centric approach to define the visual and experiential aspects of the online and offline rider journey within the app, ensuring that the interface, features, and overall user experience are finely tuned to provide a smooth, efficient, and gratifying experience for our riders.
- Collaborating closely with, from a product perspective, the Rider Onboarding, Rider Compliance and Rider incentives teams to ensure a unified strategy across these areas.
- Responsible for the overall lifecycle of the Rider Platform, ensuring key items around reliability, usability, and extensibility.
We Are Looking For:
- A product manager with exceptional product sense, particularly customer empathy and creativity.
- Someone who enjoys learning about the end user, their needs, and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for them.
- Strong product vision and strategy skills to articulate a compelling vision for the rider proposition.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed product decisions.
- A strong communicator with excellent verbal, written and storytelling skills.
- Strong technical skills and excellent attention to detail in implementation.
- Familiarity with building and maintaining services for backend systems and platform applications.
- Understanding of features and initiatives related to compliance and fraud prevention within the context of platform applications.
- Ability to support and drive key initiatives across feature-based teams as needed.
