Smyle product team strives to revolutionise online car sales by crafting an outstanding experience for dealers and consumers alike. As a part of this team, you will play a key role in creating best-in-class experiences for our customers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work independently, define & prioritize product and feature roadmaps based on group strategy and vision. You will define the scope and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and Commercial on the execution, inspiring and leading from behind.
What you'll do:
- Own a focus area (Car Sellers or Buying Experience) at Smyle, focused on solving our customer's problems.
- Define the feature/product roadmap feeding into the broader group strategy, communicate and align it with internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Dive deep into consumer and dealers needs and validate hypotheses together with UX Designers, Researchers, and Data Analysts.
- Own the end-to-end product development process from ideation, conceptualization, prototyping & testing to development & implementation working closely with Engineering and UX.
- Develop clear product requirements and epics that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
- Continuously monitor market trends and product usage to identify opportunities.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years experience in digital product management, preferably in eCommerce, conversion optimization or marketplaces.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams to coordinate product and software development cycles and successfully deliver complex products.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to backup ideas and assumptions, develop insights and recommendations and define and measure success metrics.
- Customer-driven mindset and curiosity to develop a deep understanding of your customer group need.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to guide cross-functional teams and influence business stakeholders and leadership.
- Extensive know-how of common product management tools.
- Team player with hands-on mentality and willingness to get things done.
- Fluency in English, German (understanding in reading, conversation) is a plus.
