The Person

  • Reporting to the Director of Interim, this is suited to an individual who is passionate about Business Development - winning new business and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Ideally, you can demonstrate the ability to win Interim, Contract or Permanent business for standalone opportunities, team expansions and scale-up requirements.
  • A strategic sales role, being a natural networker is key to success in this sector as is being intellectually curious, engaging, not being afraid of detail (these are senior briefs and mandates) and credibility.
  • Client contact is typically steered towards MD's/ C-Suite of Consulting firms or C-Suite within Corporates and senior level candidates - therefore you can demonstrate high-quality recruitment behaviours and processes around all things client and candidate generation and management.
  • Internally this is a solid team with no "lone rangers", ideally suited for individuals who like to give as much as they receive - as a supportive, enabling and collaborative colleague.
  • If not from the Strategy or Consultancy recruitment sector already, alternatively you have strong experience cultivating new relationships within Professional Services or Change and Transformation recruitment and are used to working with this calibre of candidates and clients alike.

The Role:

  • With strong growth plans for headcount increase, this position sits within the largest of the consultancy's divisions and is a key role to win and deliver Interim projects.
  • Typically, business wins are the supply of lead Interim specialists to provide strategic direction, followed by the supply of senior individuals to execute these changes, plus scale-up.
  • Business wins/Interim day rates range from £300 per day up to c£2,000+ per day for Senior Strategy Directors.
  • You are supported by Marketing with consistent and targeted activity and a stellar team of Delivery specialists and ongoing Account Management.
  • This position reports to the Director of Interim with a clear career trajectory to Management and excellent ongoing career path.
  • A full and varied role focused on the growth of new business and development of existing relationships by leveraging from a broad and diverse client roster from their UK & International, Consulting and Strategy client base.
  • Ensuring the sustained delivery of their first-class service is of paramount importance too, with projects aligned to the supply of Interim experts within Mergers & Acquisition activity, Strategic consultancy Private Equity and Transformation.
  • Traditionally providing "on demand" interim consultants within all things Strategy, they wish to expand and evolve their offering to also include the provision of functional Change and Transformation expertise.
  • Many current clients are boutique Consulting and Private Equity firms yet driven by market forces, much of their recent wins have been in-house with Corporates across Energy, Retail, Gaming, Fashion and Beauty.
