Job Description
Your duties
  • You are a profound expert in software and/or E/E architectures and will consult our customer's leadership and development teams in the assessment, design, and development of modern software and E/E architectures.
  • You ensure future readiness (incl. meeting of technical feasibility, customer and regulatory readiness, competitiveness, and financial viability) for automotive products.
  • You will actively work together with our clients from deriving strategic technical target pictures to operative implementation planning as a part of consulting projects.
  • You will be beneficial to our client due to your profound experience in this field when recommending new technologies, frameworks (processes, methods, and tools), and design patterns to improve the efficiency and scalability of their software and E/E architectures.

Your Profile
  • You have an excellent degree in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of studies.
  • You have at least 5+ years of professional experience at a leading automotive OEM, automotive supplier, tech company, or engineering service provider.
  • You have profound knowledge of functional architectures (as basis for software and/or E/E architectures) and hardware/software development processes incl. knowledge in homologation, testing, integration/diagnostics.
  • You are experienced with automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262, ASPICE for software development.
  • You have proven expertise with software development best practices, such as SOLID principles, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
  • You have a deep understanding of global automotive standards and safety certification requirements and experience in base technologies (e.g. OTA, ECU development).
  • You have a model-based system engineering background and experience with rolling out new methods and tools.
  • You are proactive, supportive, structured, solution-oriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into a new organization.
  • You feel comfortable working as part of agile teams and are enthusiastic about the automotive industry and technology.
  • You have excellent English language skills and profound German language skills.
  • You bring the ability to travel, if required, including internationally.
