A world-Class technology company in Edinburgh is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer, with good experience using Python and an interest in DevOps to join one of their core platform squads - hybrid working.

They've been operating for well-over ten years and are one of the market leaders within their field - they're going through a period of growth as they're scaling up several of their squads, so are in a great place.

This is a bit of a unique role for a team that don't hire often, they develop a large-scale platform that is used throughout the business to improve the quality and speed of work - it's an essential platform that is widely used by many every day. They also work on a number of services that help with future-planning, to ensure successful events - so you'll experience real variety and interesting work.

You'd be joining a multidisciplinary squad of Engineers, and they're looking for someone with strong commercial experience coding in Python, and ideally an interest or background in DevOps as you'll be involved in implementing, managing and enhancing CI pipelines and working with Kubernetes Clusters.

You'll be tasked to implement a number of improvements to the core platform the team look after, and will be expected to proactively bring new ideas and solutions to the team that would help aid performance - a creative mindset would be best suited for this role.

You'll ideally have good experience with the following;

* Python

* AWS

* DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraforms, Helm)

* Automated Testing

The following experience is highly desirable;

* Project Leadership

They've got custom-built offices in central Edinburgh, which includes pool tables, games consoles, even their own Gym and much more. They do support hybrid working here and would hope people can work in the office ideally once or twice a week.

In return they're able to offer a salary from £60k to £73k (might have some flex) and a really strong benefits package to match; which includes multiple bonuses and uncapped holidays.

This is a really unique opportunity to join an already well-established organisation, that are going through a really exciting period of growth. If you're keen to find out more, please apply or drop Doug a message
