We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our headquarters in Stuttgart.

Responsibilities:

• Become part of a cross-functional Scrum team to design, develop and maintain our high performing laboratory device software applications.
• Develop new features that benefit our customers and are written in clean and well-tested code. Participate in code reviews.
• Use your technical perspective to consult the Product Owner on feasibility and scope of changes and requirements.
• Take an active role in architectural decisions and refactoring to help evolve our software to become ready for the future through APIs, interfaces, and introducing new technologies.
• Share and gain knowledge/skills within the software team.
• Take co-ownership of our CI/CD pipelines and make suggestions for improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in a hardware context.
• Strong software architecture and API design knowledge.
• Proficiency in C# or Qt/C++ is required. Experience in WPF, ASP.NET, and YAML-based CI/CD is preferred.
• Basic understanding of good UI/UX design.
• Critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills. Candidates with fluent German are preferred.
• Experience in life sciences or laboratory automation is advantageous.
