MissionStaff engineers are part of tribes and are managed by engineering managers (EMs). Weekly meetings are held to track the progress of transverse projects.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex technical solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Drive architectural decisions, technical strategy, and best practices across the engineering organization.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions that address customer needs.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify technical challenges and proactively propose solutions to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software engineering and apply them to enhance our products and processes.
- Maintain and ensure an excellent quality of code and healthy codebase.

Our technical stack includes mostly Python/Django, Go, Celery RabbitMQ for backend; PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch for databases; React/Typescript for frontend; Rust for CLIs, and Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS or OVH for infrastructure.

- Fluency in English.
- You are an expert in Python with solid experience in Django and large monolithic codebases.
- You are known for mentoring others and improving codebases.
- You are an expert in web application development, Unix/Linux environments, and distributed and parallel systems.
- You have expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in security-focused environments, particularly with companies adhering to compliance standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO certifications, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and auditing processes.
- Like us, you have a dynamic and proactive personality and are always willing to help your teammates.
- You can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.
- Strong mentorship experience where you coached more junior members to grow technically.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, you have a track record of effectively leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an organisation of at least one hundred people.
- You like building tools for developers.
- You have experience building security products.
