Your new roleAs a Senior/Principal Town Planner, you will join our dynamic London and South East team. You will support the growth of our team across a variety of major infrastructure and development projects. Your responsibilities will include leading planning projects, engaging in bid preparation, acting as lead consultant for multi-disciplinary projects, and supporting junior colleagues and planning team leaders. Experience with Development Consent Orders (DCOs) is advantageous.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant Planning degree; RTPI membership is desirable.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, determination, and resilience.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with the Environmental Impact Assessment process.
- Knowledge of Strategic Planning and Planning policy.
- Understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO, or equivalent applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in work winning and supporting market growth.
- Genuine passion to work for AtkinsRéalis.
- Experience with local authorities, PEC, and permitted development.
