Job Role
Our client is a well-established family run business in Peterborough undertaking a vast array of steelwork fabrication and installation projects. You will be involved with the installation of fabricated metalwork on a multitude of construction sites located throughout the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly company, offering a varied role.
Job Responsibilities
- Collation of materials, fixings and other job specific items.
- Liaison with customer on site
- Reading, understanding and working within the limits of method statement and risk assessment.
- Reading of drawings
- Filling out paperwork on completion of installation
- Some factory-based fabrication and pre-building of structures
Person Specification
- IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, EUSR, SSSTS, NVQ steel erection.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Full driving license
- Occasional overnight stop outs may be required.
Hours of Work and Pay
- Up to £15.50 DOE
- Day shift - Monday to Friday
- 40-60 hours per week.
