A leader in delivering quality refurbishment and maintenance services across the UK are currently looking for a Site Manager to join their team. They specialise in transforming residential properties as part of the government's decarbonisation program, aiming to improve housing standards for communities.
Role Overview:As a Site Manager for the decent homes decarbonisation, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of refurbishment projects, ensuring they meet high standards, budget constraints, and deadlines. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining site efficiency, safety, and quality control. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and residents, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout each project phase.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enforce site health and safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment for all.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Report on project status, timelines, and budget to the project manager and stakeholders.
- Engage and communicate with rlo and residents to keep them informed and address any issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on Decent Homes projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, health, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and site logistics.
- Strong communication skills, particularly with tenants and other stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are advantageous.
