Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering efforts in developing cutting-edge solutions for Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management. The role involves strategic leadership, technical excellence, and a deep commitment to product innovation. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology strategy and vision, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. You will lead a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the development of products that protect the world's financial systems and supply chains from criminal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality software development practices and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Strategy, UX and other cross-functional teams to define and execute the technology roadmap, aligning with the overall business strategy.
  • Drive technical innovation and excellence in software development, including the adoption of the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions, meeting the needs of our customers and the market.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and support, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate them into product enhancements and new features.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in software engineering and within a leadership role managing engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of delivery.
  • Strong technical foundation in software engineering principles and architecture, with expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor engineering teams, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as different teams across the operating unit.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate business needs into technology solutions that drive customer value and business growth.
  • Familiarity with compliance, risk management, or financial services domains would be beneficial but is not required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
