Software Test Engineer

Helvetica Partners, a recruitment agency representing some of the most prestigious Swiss companies, is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer in Vaud Canton with ISTQB Certification ( foundation level ).

Your mission:

• Reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and testability.
• Executing manual tests on real robots for new features and software usability during Sprints.
• Performing exploratory testing during Sprints to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Writing clear and detailed bug reports, tracking issues, and verifying fixes.
• Collaborating with the QA team to ensure product quality.

Technological environnement:

• Embedded Real Time software (Oberon-2 under XO/2) and APIs (REST, MQTT).
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Jooq, SQLite.
• Programming languages: Python, C++, Java, Typescript, and Qt.

Desired Profile:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• ISTQB® Foundation Level certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a test analyst or test engineer in an Agile project.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Cypress, JUnit, or Selenium is a plus.
• Knowledge of test management tools like X-Ray, Squash, or Qmetry is an asset.
• Passionate about innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest software testing trends.
• Proficient in English, French is highly advantageous.
