The Position Shape the Future of Digital Healthcare SolutionsRoche Diagnostics is seeking a Solution Architect (Information Solutions) to join our dynamic Lab Transformation team. This field-based position is a unique opportunity to lead the design and execution of digital healthcare solutions, collaborating across technical and commercial teams to deliver seamless, innovative customer experiences. In this role you will have the chance to define and implement Roche's digital solution offerings, leading the integration of innovative digital products into the healthcare landscape. You will collaborate with multiple teams, including technical, commercial, and Managed Service groups, to develop comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs. This role allows you to play a key part in shaping Roche's future in digital healthcare, ensuring seamless implementation and exceptional customer experiences across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to implement technical sales strategies for digital/IT solutions, supporting pre-sales activities such as customer visits and technical strategy sessions.
- Customer Onboarding: Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and support tender squads by communicating prospect requirements and developing Statements of Work (SOW) to deliver customer needs.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to provide integration support, assigning work to partners to ensure seamless implementation.
- Matrix Leadership: Foster a culture that values technical excellence and supports individuals in achieving their goals.
You are a strategic problem solver with a proven track record in leading complex systems integration programmes, navigating corporate environments, and influencing senior partners. You thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations and excel in building trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) in healthcare/allied healthcare, IT, or healthcare IT.
- Master's-level education in a related field (preferred but not required).
- Full driver's license.
Experience:
- Demonstrated success in matrix leadership.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale, complex systems integration in healthcare or regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships at all levels.
- Experience responding to senior leadership requests and prioritizing issues under pressure.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Deep understanding of health and pathology systems, including UK market strategies and challenges.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN.
- Strong presales and commercial competence with adaptable communication skills.
- Leadership experience, including transformational leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management and customer engagement.
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
