Job Description
Roehampton Gate School are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager. This role is flexible and can offer both full-time and part-time hours for the right person.

Main duties:
Undertaking initial assessments of new and present students to establish the scope, level and nature of the individual students SaLT needs.
Leads and facilitates group and/or individual sessions, ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the students, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the students EHCP.
Manages, monitors and reviews an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales. Know and take responsibility for the EHCP provision for SaLT in all of the caseload.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, case file notes and computerised information, and other associated documentation; providing and presenting progress reports on a regular basis.
Liaise with professional and teaching colleagues, to support needs of individuals. Also, assist with the analysis and reporting of statistical data and information for research and audit purposes.
Manages own work load independently.
The successful candidate will be registered and will hold BSc Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification.
