Job Description
Aspris Coleg South Wales are recruiting for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and enthusiastic person to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other professionals providing support to students, reporting to the Therapy Manager.

Aspris Coleg South Wales is an independent, specialist co-educational college for young adults aged 16 - 25 with Aspergers Syndrome, autistic spectrum disorders and associated conditions based at Cwmbran. The college was set up in partnership with Coleg Gwent, the largest further education college in Wales, to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our young people.

The successful candidate will be registered and will hold BSc Speech and Language Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Committed will join a supportive and experienced team of dedicated support staff, committed to delivering the very best care.
Caring Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
