SQL VBA Developer

We are seeking a skilled SQL VBA Developer to support our client, a unique educational organisation. The successful candidate will be pivotal in enhancing and transitioning their bespoke systems, which manage bookings, HR, payroll, and accounting, from Microsoft Access and VBA to a SQL Server-based platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate Legacy VBA systems to SQL Server
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using T-SQL and VBA.
• Troubleshoot and optimise systems for performance and functionality

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and VBA.
• Experience with Legacy systems and SQL Server databases.
• Experience working with Legacy systems, especially those built on Microsoft Access and VBA.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, particularly with SQL Server databases.

Personal Characteristics:

• Excellent communication skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a small team setting.
