Key ResponsibilitiesProposal Preparation
- Ownership of the quotation process for the full product portfolio
- Inquiry management: Collect project information and application data from customers, representatives, and the sales team
- Application review and system selection: Choose appropriate instrument configurations using your technical knowledge
- Mass spectrometer peak selection and measurement modeling to determine analytical feasibility and performance
- Foster customer happiness by ensuring timely delivery of quotes and problem resolution.
- Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of quote templates, application summaries, and price lists
- Act as the main global applications support contact for the business
- Provide technical support via telephone, email, meetings, and site visits
- Make product presentations at conferences and seminars
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to generate sales support collateral
- Guide customers and service engineers on analysis, calibration methods, and analytical problem-solving
- Provide necessary sales training for internal and external customers
- Offer market and competition analysis to assist in generating market plans
- Support new product and application development
- Coordinate with product development and engineering teams on hardware and software requirements
- Participate in new product development projects as the applications authority
- Address technical queries related to purchase orders and facilitate smooth order fulfillment
Experience:
- Degree in Science or Engineering; equivalent experience will be considered, and a higher degree is preferable.
- Extensive experience in process analyzers, including Gas Analysis mass spectrometry, or a PhD or equivalent experience with relevant post-doctoral experience (ideally 10+ years)
- Proven expertise in mass spectrometry and related technologies
