About the Role and Work Environment
At our Eindhoven site, we develop, build, and test advanced Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM). Working with your team, you'll test and deliver custom microscopes on time, meeting high-quality standards to ensure precision and reliability for our customers.
Ready to Make an Impact?
Building, calibrating, and testing a TEM can take 6 to 12 months before it is shipped to customers. As a Senior Test Technician, you will take ownership of the system, ensuring it is aligned and tested to the highest standards, contributing directly to the success of our sophisticated microscopes and customer satisfaction.
A Day in the Life:
Working Hours: You will work day shifts with the flexibility to decide when your workday begins. Most team members start between 07:00 and 09:00.
Cleanroom Procedures: Before entering our high-quality cleanroom, you will change into a specialized cleanroom outfit to ensure the quality and safety of the working environment.
Daily Start: Your day will begin with a team whiteboard session to discuss the status of your system and share any challenges.

Replacing and cleaning samples in the holder, inserting the holder into the system, or filling the system with liquid nitrogen or blowing it off.
The core of the job is aligning electron microscopes, checking lenses, and performing calibrations. Additionally, you will create STEM images to view samples like silicon at the atomic level.
You will proactively address system issues and collaborate closely with colleagues, trainers, troubleshooters, and operations engineers.
Education:
MBO Level 4 (Secondary Vocational Education), Bachelor's, or Master's Degree.
