Stock Controller Job in Hammersmith with hybrid working - £35,000 - £45,000 plus bonus

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Stock Controller to work in a fast-growing FMCG business in Hammersmith is available due to business expansion. This is a great opportunity for a numerical stock administrative professional to take the leap and gain more experience working closely with the finance team.
Your new role
This role is to work within the finance team but very closely aligned to supply chain. The firm distributes its goods in the UK and abroad, and has many components which have to be accounted for. You will be handling the receipting of these goods, allocating correct codes, reporting on inventory, dispatches, adjustments and write-offs, accurately reporting on all stock movements, reconciling the balance sheet and reporting on performance using SAP, SAP B1 and Excel. You will record stock movement on SAP, recording physical transactions between co-packers and 3PL warehouses.
In addition, you will reconcile month-end stock reports, identify discrepancies and record information on SAP, you will process inventory adjustments, report and prepare information and ensure compliance is within company policies. You will identify and implement new processes to improve efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant experience working in inventory management, dealing with stock control and have very strong Excel (minimum level pivot tables and v-look ups) and have worked with an ERP system together with a minimum of 3 years experience within a manufacturing or distribution setting. FMCG would be ideal but is not essential. You must be self-motivated, have excellent rapport-building skills and have excellent numeracy skills and an interest in finance.
