The role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedStrategic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidatewill be responsible for developing and maintaining long-termrelationships with a plethora of FMCG companies across EU,identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successfuldelivery of our solutions. This role requires a strategic thinkerwith excellent communication skills and a proven track record inaccount management.
What you'll bedoing
- Managing anddeveloping a high-profile book of accounts, acting as a trustedpartner to ensure client needs are exceeded, and revenue targetsare achieved.
- Leveraging deeprelationships within key accounts to identify and generate crossand up-sell new business opportunities.
- Developing robust account plans, highlighting risks andopportunities to sales leadership and executing on strategies toaddress challenges.
- Driving newbusiness opportunities within a prospect list of future targetaccounts, generating leads and building relationships that drivenew logo acquisition.
- Partnering withstakeholders across Consulting, R&A, Customer Success and widersales teams to deliver solutions and ensure excellent customerexperience from prospecting through to delivery.
- Utilising strategic insights and a deep understanding ofclient needs to produce professional and compelling material tosupport sales activities.
- Growing yourpersonal brand as a thought leader and market/industry expert,leveraging this knowledge to advance organizationalgoals.
- Keeping abreast of relevantcompetitive offerings, understanding both their strengths andweaknesses, so that the USPs of GlobalData can be effectivelypositioned in comparison to incumbent suppliers.
- Maintaining the accurate use of GlobalData systems, toolsand processes, actively pursuing opportunities for continuousimprovement.
- Contributing to the cultureof sales excellence, demonstrating a commitment to accountability,proactivity and customer obsession.
What we're lookingfor
- Significantb2b solution sales experience, with a consistent track record ofmeeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Abackground in Business Intelligence, Data, SAAS or Consulting ishighly desirable.
- Demonstrableexperience in renewing and growing a book of high valueaccounts.
- Proven ability to executemarket and client mapping exercises.
- Skilled in new logo acquisition, comfortable prospectingthrough to close.
- Exceptionalcommunication skills, able to build rapport and influencestakeholders of all levels.
- A naturalproblem solver who proactively addresses opportunities andchallenges.
- A highly commercial approachand mental agility when responding to complex client needs andnegotiations.
- Self-motivated with desirefor continuous learning.
